San Lucas Sacatepequez, Guatemala - July 26 to 30 at Monte Carmelo House of Prayer was the site of an Ethics Education workshop on the use of Learning to Live Together with 40 representatives from religious institutions in Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Mexico and Nicaragua. Participants included theologians, managers, educators and youth leaders from the educational programs of these institutions.
A South Asian regional training of trainers course on the use of the ‘Learning To Live Together’ manual for ethics and peace education will be hosted by the Sarvodaya Movement, at the Vishwanikethan International Peace Centre, Rawatawatte, Moratuwa from the 13th to 18th of August, 2011.

GENEVA, Switzerland – Early November, the Sarvodaya Shramadana movement, Sri Lanka's largest people's organisation and the representative of the Global Network of Religions for Children in this country, reported its use of the Learning to Live Together manual in a year-long peacebuilding programme for youth. After the 30-year armed conflict in Sri Lanka, the government in 2009 took control over all areas controlled by the rebels, but today much is still needed to develop a peaceful and united nation that truly appreciates its cultural and ethnic diversity, the report says. CHALATENANGO, El Salvador – El Salvador takes a first step towards the implementation of the ethics manual in a formal education setting in the Los Ranchos school centre in San Antonio. In October 2010, GNRC El Salvador implemented a workshop with 14 school teachers in the San Antonio Los Ranchos school centre, to launch the capacity building course in the Learning to Live Together manual.
