The first meeting of the GNRC Third Forum Organizing Committee was held in Tokyo, Japan from March 17 to 20, 2007, and preparations for the Third Forum are now officially underway. The Third Forum will take place in Hiroshima, Japan from May 24 to 26, 2008, followed by an assembly for prayer in Fukuoka, Japan on May 28.

About 500 children from various schools in the city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania participated in this year’s fete in which the International Day of Peace was marked around the world. The children and young persons from the GNRC Peace Clubs had earlier made 50 'Kites for Peace' which were flown at the seaside Coco Beach area in the afternoon of the UN peace day on 21 September after games on peace conducted by the Right to Play coaches.

The first interreligious colloquium of the GNRC-Belgium for young people was held in Brussels from January 26 to 28, 2007. The meeting, organized by Mrs. Ana María Serrano, a member of the GNRC-Europe, brought together 40 participants from various religious communities to consider the theme of "Human Dignity" from a diverse range of perspectives. The participants, most of them aged between 15 and 18 years old, represented the Bahá'í, Buddhist, Christian, Jewish and Muslim communities.
